The Snowman Trek is regarded as one of the most demanding treks in the world, both physically and mentally. Stretching across 23 days of trekking in the remote northern Himalayas of Bhutan, the route traverses some of the most inaccessible high-altitude terrain on Earth.
It crosses 11 high mountain passes, many above 5,000 meters, and passes through some of the most pristine and isolated regions in Bhutan, including the Laya and Lunana regions. This trek is suitable only for experienced trekkers with excellent physical fitness and prior high-altitude experience.
The reward is a rare glimpse into untouched Himalayan culture, stunning alpine landscapes, and views of peaks like Gangkar Puensum, the world’s highest unclimbed mountain.
